Winawer Variation, Winckelmann-Reimer Gambit

1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. a3 Bxc3+ 5. bxc3 dxe4 6. f3

Black keeps the extra pawn; White plays for time, open lines, and initiative - the classic gambit trade. ...Bb4 pins and usually trades for the c3-knight: Black wrecks White's queenside pawns and attacks them forever; White gets the bishop pair and kingside chances.
